To celebrate the release of his critically acclaimed album, 'The House of Orange' Richard Clapton returns to Darwin to play a one off show at SKYCITY Darwin on Saturday 3 November.
The new album, 'The House of Orange' was recorded in Nashville, Tennessee with Australian music producer Mark Mofatt. It features songs both old an dnew from Clapton's vast catalogue which have been recorded with some of the best musicians in 'Music City' to give a refreshed country - soul Americana sound.
Richard's performance at SKYCITY will showcase songs from the new album as well as all the classic hits from the last four decades including 'Capricorn Dancer', 'Deep Water', 'I am an Island', 'Best years of our lives', 'Girls on the Avenue' and so many others. The show will feature a full rock band of the stellar players who have been with Richard for two decades and have become an essential part of the musical DNA.
